Find out more information on deficiency, supplementation, sun exposure, and how vitamin D relates to your health.

With an intake of 4000 IU for two years, the level of D3 in the blood stabilized at 60 ng/ml, then it increased to 82 ng/ml so I took only 2100 IU for a month, yet D3increased to 84 instead of being lower. I am a male with almost no fat and 60 years of age.

The only thing I know of that increases Vitamin D levels are statin drugs. Have you been taking any of those either before or just started? Any extra “sunshine” from a vacation or that you do not usually get?
