Vitamin D strongly associated with inflammatory, heart, and metabolic markers in unhealthy obese patients

A recent study in Diabetes and Metabolism has found that markers of cardiometabolic and inflammatory markers are more strongly associated in patients with metabolically unhealthy obesity compared to patients with metabolically healthy obesity.

Cardiometabolic markers measure factors of heart health and metabolism. These markers are often used to evaluate your risk of developing diabetes, having heart disease, or experiencing a stroke.
